sn* drift

Postby incubus » January 10th, 2005, 10:10 pm

i went out drifting in the 7 when it snowed yesterday. probably the most fun i've had in a very very long time. i just found an empty parking lot and had at it for about 15 min. i got about 3 or 4 decent drifts in before i decided to head out. it was also great practice for driving in the snow... that can be pretty difficult too. starting off in 2nd gear helps tho.

When I use to have my Vert...drifting in the snow was the hardest to do for me. I hated that. I had trouble driving. But in the dry....it was a beast. I miss the handling and everything. I'd take turns and just keep the tail end happy.

^whoa you can do that? crazy. i sent them off to witchhunter.com. same as RCENG only cheaper. 12 per injector. since he's local he got them done that day and then gave them back later that night. it was great. just make sure to have the right gaskets >.<

ahg1 that stuff is crap. all it did was make my gas cap sticky >.< if you wanna do it, you might as well do it right and save some money. its more trouble to you (or whomever pulls out your injectors) but its well worth it in the end. my car runs better now that they have been cleaned. the plastic cap on one of my primaries had broken so it messed everything up.

damn you drew, your only what 30 min up from me, i didnt get any snow.

Snow drifting is one of the best experiences your will have next to rain. both take more precision and patience, but its so fun! makes you feel like you have 300hp, you can burn out till 4th. in snow i mean

choki dori is the best to do when it snows, but then again it didnt snow here :x

I like watching 4wheel drifts, they look awsome, the wheels are straight but its still moving in a side motion?

The honda element has done it, that little toaster handles quite well i might add

yeah ours is silver, i was thinkin of painting the plastic to match, but the work involved would be over whelming. Besides its much easier to wash when half the car is plastic!!
